Με το πρώτο φως της ημέρας τα ξένα μέσα δημοσιεύουν συνεχώς φωτογραφίες επισημαίνοντας τον αριθμό των νεκρών, οι οποίοι μέχρι στιγμής υπολογίζονται πάνω από 50.
Έλληνες από κάθε γωνιά της χώρας, Κύπριοι, Ευρωπαίοι, μέχρι και άτομα από την άλλη άκρη της γης προσεύχονται στα social media για τους τραυματίες και τις οικογένειες των θυμάτων, χρησιμοποιώντας το hashtag #PrayforGreece ή #PrayforAthens.
Δημοσιεύοντας φωτογραφίες με την φωτιά να καίει τα πάντα στο πέρασμά της, πολλοί είναι αυτοί που αναφέρουν πως οι προσευχές και οι σκέψεις τους είναι στην Ελλάδα και συγκεκριμένα στην Αθήνα.
