Giannis Antetokounmpo: «My brother deserves a chance in the NBA»

Giannis Antetokoynmpo is certain that his brother deserves a chance in the NBA like the one he got with the Milwaukee Bucks.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo was a guest in the Greek Radio Station Spor FM 94.6 where he talked about his life, his dreams and his career so far.

During the interview a surprise call was made. In the other end of the line was Giannis Antetokounmpo.

"Hello, i am Giannis Antetokounmpo, how are you?” he introduced himself and he continued "I Want to ask Thanasis one thing. Does he know that if he makes to the NBA he will be the first Greek doing it without any experience fromh his country’s national teams. This is antother reason to congratulate him. And everyone has to know that he took a lot of risks to be where he is.

I wish the Knicks will give him a guaranteed contract because he deserves it. He is very dedicated and he works really hard".

When Giannis was asked, what his brother must do to succeed he replied: "When his coach give him a chance he must grab it. When you enter the game –even for a few minutes he has to show what he’s made of. He must be there in the defense and from there anything he does in the offense is a big plus".
